PII Pseudonymizer

Replace personal data with realistic fake data

Paste an e-mail, ticket or document. Names, addresses, phone numbers, ID and account numbers are swapped for believable substitutes, so you can share the text or send it to an AI service. Works in English, German, Slovenian, Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian.

Nothing you paste is stored. We keep only the time and IP address of each request, for rate limiting.

Language of the text

Fake names, streets and postcodes are chosen for this language. Choose it yourself for short texts, and for Bosnian or Montenegrin, which cannot be told apart automatically.

What to replace

A value you exclude can still be caught by a more general detector. For example, a labelled card number may be replaced as a document number.

Names to always replace

One person per line, first name first. Names are found automatically only after cues such as “Dear”, “gospod” or “Lep pozdrav”; names listed here are replaced everywhere, including other grammatical cases (Janeza, Janezu). Up to 200 names.

Consistency key optional

Leave empty and every request gets different fake values. Enter the same key to get the same fake values every time, so separate texts stay consistent. Anyone who knows the key gets the same results, so use a long random key and never a password you use elsewhere.

Result

Up to 60 requests per minute per network.

Result

Paste a text, choose what to replace and select Replace personal data. The pseudonymized text appears here, with every replaced value marked.

Put the real data back

Got a reply that still contains the fake values, for example from an AI service? Paste it here to swap the originals back in. This happens in your browser; nothing is sent to the server.
